The Castle Gallery
The castle gallery comprises works of art from the Gothic and Baroque periods. The Gothic works of art originate from sacred places in Ptuj and its environs, mainly from the pilgrimage church on Ptujska Gora. Special attention should be paid to the statues of St. Barbara and St. Catherine, as they represent refined works of art in European terms, made around 1405 in the Ptujska Gora workshop.

The baroque section of the gallery displays the paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, depicting the Ptuj castle and the town, two views of the landscape, as well as biblical and mythological motifs. In the niches are exhibited the statues of dwarfs, once an adornment to Dornava mansion park.
